Preparing to Sit for the CMOM Exam

In order to become certified, students must pass the comprehensive exam, a diagnostic tool to measure a candidate's knowledge and skill in a particular area. It is recommended that PMI exam candidates have a minimum of one year of experience in the medical office before taking the CMOM exam.

PMI has taken great strides to ensure that our certification exam serves as an accurate measure of an individual's management skills and competency. All candidates are tested in a live environment with a qualified testing proctor administering the exam according to PMI's Exam Protocols. A candidate who passes the exam with a grade of 70% or better is awarded with CMOM certification.
