PMI Professional Proctor Program

Being a Proctor means more than just being available to proctor an exam, it declares that you have a commitment to share with others that it is worth their time to seek out the educational choices that can help them on a personal level, as well as their practice on a professional level.

PMI certification is valuable, and we want to share this information across every state. With the expansion of all four of our certification courses into the webinar format, we need to have Proctors available in more areas than ever. Proctors are an integral part of our distance learning opportunities.

Our PMI Professional Proctors are hand-selected to represent PMI in an assigned community. Individuals who serve in these roles are invaluable to the home office and may go to serve in other roles.

PMI Proctors are required to adhere to Practice Management Institute Standard of Excellence.

Certified Professional Standards of Excellence

Practice Management Institute’s Certified Professional Standards of were developed to promote ethical requirements and standards for its Certified Professionals. These guidelines were established and approved by the Practice Management InstituteĀ® Advisory Board for Certification Programming.

Standards of Conduct describe the actions that would reasonably be expected of a PMI Certified Professional in the performance of his/her duties. Certified Professionals are held to the highest professional standards in the medical industry. PMI Certified Professionals must agree to follow appropriate and legal guidelines according to governmental and third party payer organizations and contracts. They will support the compliance efforts and reporting system of the medical practice. They will bill only for services that are actually rendered. Services will be coded accurately and only when documentation is provided for the service. They agree to continue to learn and abide by current standards in the ever-changing business of medicine.
