HOW IT WORKS 
Once you have registered for a course, login instructions will be sent to you within three business days, directly from your course instructor. In some instances, additional course materials may be required. All required materials must be ordered from the toll free number provided to you under each topic.
In order to successfully complete your course, you will be required to:
Read detailed lectures and course materials as assigned
Complete quizzes and assignments as assigned
Follow course timelines, as directed
On selected courses, you have the option to participate in ongoing, instructor-led discussions with class members

About Our Partnership with Greenville Tech College
Practice Management has trained students at Greenville Tech’s Buck Mickel Center for Continuing Education Institute for more than five years. The Buck Mickel Center offers not-for-credit courses, training leading to certifications and licensure, and personal interest and enrichment classes. No college application is required and most courses have no prerequisites. CEUs (Continuing Education Units) are awarded for most Buck Mickel Center/Continuing Education courses at Greenville Tech.

Greenville Tech was recently named one of the top ten entrepreneurial community colleges in the nation out of over 1,200 institutions by Dr. John Roueche. Roueche is author of The Entrepreneurial Community College, published this year, and director of the Community College Leadership Program at the University of Texas at Austin.

|  Angie Brown has over 20 years of experience in medical practice management
and adult education with coding and insurance. Angie has extensive
experience teaching CPT, ICD-9-CM, reimbursement, OSHA, and HIPAA
compliance. She is adept at government rules and regulations, and personnel
management with auditing guidelines. Additionally, her experience within the
arena of medical practice management education makes her a knowledgeable and
much sought after medical management resource
in South Carolina, and throughout the country.
Angie serves as a Certified Medical
Coder, Certified Medical Insurance Specialist, Certified
Medical Office Manager, Certified Allied Health Instructor,
Certified Medical Assistant, and a Certified National Proctor.
She has been with Greenville Technical College since 1997 as
Program Manager and Instructor in the Health Sciences and
Nursing Department. She has field experience as a practice
administrator and medical consultant. Angie has been a faculty
member with PMI for two years, and recently received one of
PMI's highest honors- the Outstanding National Liaison award
for 2005. |
