Live Certification Webinars

Practice Management Institute now offers more ways to earn certification. For 30 years, PMI has taught medical office professionals in classroom sessions all over the country in leading hospitals, health systems, medical societies and community colleges.

PMI recently introduced its newest certification training option, live webinar format. This format offers the convenience of learning wherever you are located. No longer must candidates watch the schedule for a live class coming to their area or travel back and forth to a physical classroom. Students who enroll in this format receive a physical copy of the full course manual and access to a scheduled series of 10 to 12 live 90-minute webinars accessible via a toll-free phone line and slide presentation, viewed over the Internet. Sessions are taught by PMI faculty and are carefully adapted from the live classroom training.

Participate in live webinar sessions and interact with the faculty member and class participants, ask questions and get answers real-time. Missed webinars can be reviewed anytime via Internet streaming. PMI provides registrants with login access to previously recorded sessions. A discussion forum is available to ask questions and interact with the instructor offline. The certification exam is included in enrollment fee. Once the course is complete, candidates contact PMI to make arrangements within one year to sit for the certification exam, proctored live in a nearby community.
