About the Presenter
Doug Arrington, Ph.D., FNP, CHC, CHRC, CMC, CPC-H, CPMA, is the Director of the Office of Billing Compliance at UT Southwestern Medical Center at Dallas. He is responsible for the Billing Compliance for all professional billing, hospital billing, and research billing at UT Southwestern Medical Center. He has a diverse clinical and administrative background in health care operations, billing, coding, reimbursement and compliance. He has worked clinically as a Family Nurse Practitioner in the Chronic Pain, Dual Diagnosis Substance Abuse/Mental Health programs and the Emergency Room at Vanderbilt University. He earned a BS in nursing from the University of Utah, a Master’s degree in Nursing from Vanderbilt University, and a Ph.D. in Health Administration with a focus in Health Policy from Kennedy-Western University. |
