Patient engagement, quality care and reporting measurements are becoming a big deal. Engaged patients develop and maintain a stronger bond to their medical practices and have the patient experience of greater value, trust and quality with their care, which leads to patient satisfaction. The Affordable Care Act required the establishment of the Physician Compare website to aid patients in making informed choices about the health care they receive from Medicare providers.

Since 2014 when the first quality measures were added, the number of individuals, groups, and organizations reporting quality data has continued to increase. How much impact does this publicly reported data have on your practice? Review four newly enhanced features of the Physician Compare website.
