With over 40 years of progressive experience in the healthcare field, Nancy A. Escobar brings a well-rounded background that spans from front office operations and medical billing to software implementation and professional instruction. Her career began at the age of 18 as a receptionist and biller for an OB/GYN practice, where she developed a passion for healthcare administration that has continued to grow throughout her professional journey. Over the years, she has held key positions including Office Manager, Billing Instructor, Software Implementation Specialist, and Program Director at Anamarc Educational Institute. She also partnered with the Practice Management Institute (PMI) to provide seminars, certify coding professionals, and host continuing education events for medical staff across El Paso and Las Cruces. As a certified software implementer for Allscripts through Laser Tech Inc., she received formal training in North Carolina and supported practice transitions. In 2011, she launched her own business, Escobar Billing Systems, LLC. Her business has allowed her to meet many people in the healthcare community, plus help with their billing needs.
Nancy recently founded My Healthcare Practice Resource Network, a professional support group for healthcare office managers and administrators. Her passion lies in mentoring others and improving medical office operations through shared knowledge and practical tools. Nancy is an active member in the El Paso Executive Women Lions Club, where she volunteers in her community, as well as the Mesilla Valley Iris Society.
Nancy has recently joined Healthy Horizons Institute as an instructor, to provide educational programs for students and ongoing training for the healthcare community.
