Cynthia has a diverse background in healthcare and 25+ years of administrative experience. She began her journey as a healthcare professional working in a large ENT physician practice while attending college. She has worked in multiple roles as a practice administrator including daily business operations, financial management, marketing internal/external, website management, and scheduling seminars.
Today she manages a large hematology-oncology practice. She is an advocate for patients and is passionate about ensuring that the patient is at the center of all healthcare decisions.
Cynthia has also served as practice administrator for several specialties including a large health care network specializing in hematology-oncology, and surgical oncology, OB/GYN, sleep medicine, and a headache/migraine clinic. She has prior experience as a Rehabilitation Manager where she managed physical and occupational therapists and speech-language pathologists in clinical settings. This is where she first encountered the importance of correct coding and documentation.
She holds a Bachelor of Science in Occupational Therapy and is a Certified Medical Office Manager. She teaches at a community college in the Occupational Therapy Assistant program.
