Certified Medical Chart Auditor - E/M
This highly specialized certification course explains how to establish and lead an internal E/M chart auditing program. Learn how to protect practice revenue with enhanced knowledge of evaluation and management coding rules, medical necessity, and proper E/M code selection.
The instructor will address current coding and compliance guidelines, and walk through self-audit procedures and steps to minimize E/M coding and documentation risks in a medical office. Course materials include a physical course manual with coding guidelines, reference documents from the OIG and CMS, auditing tools, and case studies.
