Webinar/Audio Conference FAQs

Don't miss this opportunity to collect pearls of wisdom from Dr. Linda Parsi - practicing Pediatrician, certified coder, and the current Chair of the Editorial Advisory Board and the editor of the coding publications for the AAP. Dr. Parsi will teach you how to document and select the correct Evaluation and Management (E/M) code level in 2021. The new guidelines will be implemented on January 1 - get ready now!

Attend this session and learn why the AMA and CMS are changing the E/M guidelines. Find out exactly what changes will take place, where they will be applicable, and how to determine the proper code level with Medical Decision Making (MDM) and with Time in 2021. Enhance your understanding of MDM. Get the facts on what criteria will change on January 1. Review data categories and current definitions of problem and risk.

See how these concepts are applied by reviewing a real world Pediatric-specific scenario. Dr. Parsi will walk you through an example encounter to select the code level based on MDM first, and then based on Time, to illustrate the impact of these changes to outpatient E/M code selection. Join this program to prepare your pediatric practice for successful documentation and claims submissions in 2021.
