With more than 30 years of experience in the healthcare industry, Jenny Pauley is skilled in nearly every aspect of physician practice from the front office to the back. She has experience in setting up new practices from startup to opening managing those practices; implementing EHR systems; developing quality coordination programs; billing and coding; overseeing all financials including accounts receivables and daily financials. In previous positions she has been instrumental in increasing revenue, reducing denials of claim payments, and improving the quality of clinical documentation for her providers. Currently, Jenny is the Training and Development Specialist for a national insurance carrier.

Jenny has an RBA in education and is currently a member of the WVMGMA. She has a passion for educating and is enthusiastic about providing professional development opportunities for others.

Participants will sharpen diagnostic coding accuracy with coding practice and expand knowledge of the critical role that clinical documentation plays in correct coding.

Content assumes basic knowledge of diagnostic coding. An ICD-10-CM code set manual is required for completion of coding exercises. Recommended prerequisites for new and inexperienced coders: PMI Basics: Introduction to Medical Coding, PMI Basics: Introduction to ICD-10-CM Coding.
